Bumps in the Road
How many times have I questioned those bumps in my road oh Lord? How many times have I whined and complained? How many times? But how would my faith endure, how soon would it fade away...wihout those bumps...without a cross?
WHEN YOU FEEL THAT THE WEIGHT OF THE CROSS YOU CARRY
IS UNBEARABLE ... JUST LIFT YOUR HEART TO THE HIGHEST OF
POWERS.... ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BATHE YOUR SOUL AND
EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS, ALWAYS TRUST THE
LORD, FOR IN THE DARKEST OF HOURS... HE IS ALWAYS THERE
LOOKING AT YOU WITH HIS LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING.
But after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who
calls you to share his eternal glory in union with Christ, will himself
perfect you, and give you firmness, strength and a sure foundation.
To Him be the power forever! Amen
